A Gas Safety Certificate is an annual inspection which is required to be renewed every year and when a new gas appliance has been installed. Furthermore, the law stipulates, under The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, that landlords are obligated to provide tenants with a CP12 Gas Safety Inspection Certificate, which covers an all-inclusive maintenance of all gas appliances and flues.
